Chad is currently the Global Supplier Development and Strategic Initiatives leader for Aviation Systems within GE Aerospace.  In this role Chad is responsible for the strategic development of the aviation supply chain for existing and new technologies, as well as lean, continuous improvement and rate readiness.

Chad began his career in 1994 as a Manufacturing Engineer for Goodrich Aerospace in Grand Rapids Michigan working on collision avoidance and lighting detection system. In 1998 Chad took the role as the Director of Operation for Borsch Manufacturing running a contract manufacturing business for aerospace circuit card assemblies with over 60M in revenue.  In 2001 Chad joined Smiths Aerospace and held various roles within the supply chain organization including, manufacturing engineering, new product development manager, and engineering director for the Grand Rapids MI., Clearwater FL. and Germantown MA. sites.  In 2007 Smiths was acquired by GE Aerospace and in 2009 Chad was named plant leader of the Grand Rapids Michigan Aviation Systems site with annual revenues of 160M, and responsible for over 240 employees in supply chain.  Chad over saw the Environmental Health and Safety programs for both Grand Rapids sites with over 1300 employees.  In 2011, wanting to expand his services skillset, Chad accepted an international assignment as the managing director of GE Aviation’s Aftermarket and Services business for the avionicsand power products.  In this role Chad was responsible for the operation of the services group located in Cheltenham England that repaired, overhauled, and modified over 2700 different civil and military products with 300+ employees and over 135M annual revenue.  In 2013 Chad accepted the role as the Supplier Quality leader for Controls and Accessories within GE Aerospace.  In this role Chad was responsible for the overall quality and performance of the supply base for both the electrical and mechanical groups in the Controls and Accessories organization with over 800M in annual spend.  In 2016 Chad was appointed as the delivery process leader for engines sourcing. Chad was responsible for the strategic development and implementation of delivery processes and delivery tools for on time delivery such as the Supplier Expectation and Performance Management (SEPM) process.  In 2018 Chad moved into a Global Sourcing leader role responsible for strategic procurement, development, and negotiations of long-term agreements for circuit card assemblies, complex subassemblies and electronic components commodities.  

Chad has over 30 years of Aerospace experience spanning various management roles within Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Sourcing and Contract Manufacturing with the goal of achieving excellent execution in the processes and products his team’s support.  Chad attended the University of Cincinnati for manufacturing engineering and later attended the University of Michigan where he received certifications in Lean manufacturing as well as his Black Belt certification from Six Sigma.
