Jeff Allen is the John F. and Joan M. Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Michigan Technological University. He is currently serves as the Associate Chair of Undergraduate Studies and is leading the development of a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at Michigan Tech. He has over 100 peer reviewed publications, received 8 NASA Achievement Awards, the 2010 Michigan Tech Bhakta Rath Research Award, the 2009 SAE Ralph R. Teetor Educational Award, and is a member of Michigan Tech Academy of Teaching Excellence. His technical areas of expertise include hydrogen fuel cells, cryogenic propellant management, and phase change heat transfer.
