Eaton’s Aerospace Group
John Sapp is the President of Eaton’s Aerospace Group. He officially joined Eaton, a global intelligent power management company, on December 4, 2023, and reports to Paulo Ruiz, President and Chief Operating Officer of Eaton’s Industrial Sector. Sapp also serves as a member of Eaton’s senior leadership team.
Prior to joining Eaton, Sapp held several senior leadership roles at Collins Aerospace, serving as Vice President and General Manager of Strategic Solutions for Mission Systems. His tenure at Collins also included positions as Vice President and General Manager of Integrated Solutions and Vice President of Commercial Aftermarket Sales and Support. Before Collins, he held key leadership roles at GE Aviation.
Sapp’s distinguished career began in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as an F-15C fighter pilot. He is also a graduate and former instructor at the prestigious U.S. Air Force Fighter Weapons School.
