Kirk Kramer has over 40 years of experience in higher education including over 25 years in executive leadership at St. Clair County Community College (SC4) in Port Huron Michigan. Kirk has served as the Vice President of Administrative Services, Chief Operating Officer, and in December 2023 was named President of SC4. Leading change at the college to adapt to emerging needs and facilitating collaborative ventures have been the primary focus of Kirk’s career. Over the years Kirk has served on the board of the St. Clair County Economic Development Alliance, Blue Meets Green community initiative, Port Huron LDFA, and various committees. Launching a Challenger Learning Center at the College to incorporate informal STEM education and to encourage students to pursue STEM careers, piloting k-12 projects to develop seamless pathways, and advocating for socio-economic equity in student success are recent high-profile projects of Kirk’s.
