Bryan K. Barnett has served as the mayor of Rochester Hills, Michigan for 18 years and is the longest serving mayor in the history of the city. After his re-election In November 2023, he holds the distinction of being the only strong mayor in United States history to win three consecutive write-in campaigns.

Mayor Barnett’s administration has received extensive recognition for innovation, fiscal responsibility, operational excellence and environmental leadership. Rochester Hills has been recognized as “One of the Top Places to Live in America” numerous times by sources like CNN and Money Magazine. Rochester Hills has held the title “Safest City in Michigan” for the past seven years. 
Mayor Barnett was elected to serve as the 77th President of the United States Conference of Mayors (USCM), the official nonpartisan organization of cities with populations of 30,000 or more. Mayor Barnett’s vision for Rochester Hills is to be the preeminent place in America to live, work and raise a family.
